Sutton, Leigh

Leigh Sutton started her working life as a librarian and once qualified moved into journalism completing a magazine journalism course at the then Wellington Polytechnic.

Leigh SuttonShe worked first on the Hutt News and later The Evening Post. Leigh then moved into Public Relations, Marketing, Publicity/Communications areas and has completed stints with among others Television New Zealand, NZ Lottery Grants Board, and Queen Margaret College.

She spent three years with a top ranking Member of Parliament before going it alone … for the past 10 plus years Leigh has run her own publishing business with three titles (two monthly community newspapers and bi-monthly glossy magazines) – The Stokes Valley Times, Taita Times and Vibrant Hutt magazine.
