Christchurch-born Ann Barrie was educated at Papakura High School, and Kesteven and Grantham Girls’ School. She has a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Auckland, and a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington. A librarian by profession, she lives on the south coast of Wellington and is passionate about writing. Other interests include swimming, walking, travel, cinema and choral singing.
