I haven’t read anything quite like this before, but I’d like to read more! Very well written tale with unexpected twists.

Pip Leighton goes to work for Lord Cross as his secretary in hopes of working off his father’s debt. Abrupt in manner, Cross takes a liking to Pip, but he fights against his urges for reasons we find out later.
Meanwhile, a ghost continues to appear, giving warning of things to come.

The author has a beautiful way with words, really drawing you into the story. I’ll definitely be reading more from this author.
