Come on you old codgers. Confess. We all got up to it. Even if all we have left is a few distorted memories of antics that were slightly disreputable, there is fun in the telling. There is no need to adhere too strictly to the truth. Many escapades improve as absolute accuracy is dispensed with. What is true, however, is that there was a ‘dreamtime’. Life was not always a hectic rat-race. Let’s sit down by the fire with a drink in our hands and remember life as it ought to have been.
