The playwrights are members of Playwrights Association of NZ and portray a variety of themes through both comedy and drama.
Each of the writers has had considerable experience in theatre. They paint their stories within the texture of their theatrical knowledge to entertain you, and offer worthwhile and achievable experience especially for beginning directors and actors.

Humphrey is launching a new political party and invites a team of ‘experts’ to a strategy meeting.

The Scarf by Dolly Varden-Chambers.
An elderly woman feigns dementia when her new pastime is uncovered.

Young Lady in a Boat by Lindsey Brown.
Set in Victorian times, with two female characters. The 1870 painting ‘Young Lady in a Boat’ by James Tissot has been the inspiration.

A Colodrama by Mike Carter.
An old-time melodrama full of colourful characters and ridiculous verse.

No Lingering Allowed by Elspeth Tilly.
Sometimes thinking about death can help us figure out what it means to live.
