Story Soup is a story writing aid that presents the user with a selection of story element cards such as a character, some locations, an object, and a challenge.  it also presents a couple of Ending cards.  These can be used as prompts for short-story writing exercises or for story telling games.  You can select different Genre to create wildly different stories; Channel the Famous Five to create new adventures, create an edgy Detective Noir story, or recount the mighty legend of how the rat got its wings.
At the moment Story Soup is a project in development.  Now it needs other people to try it out to see whether it is going to behave nicely or whether there are areas where it needs more work. Those who are easily offended are advised against using it.

Presented by Writer’s Plot Bookshop, in association with the Upper Hutt Library, and is supported through the Upper Hutt Creative Communities Scheme.
